We are currently looking for a full-time WordPress Designer to join our rapidly growing company. As a WordPress Designer, you’ll be assisting our internal teams with their WordPress-related projects. For example, you will be responsible for designing & building new sites, general content management & optimization on and of our fleet of WordPress sites. You will work closely with stakeholders from both non-tech teams as well as other developers, engineers, and specialists in the company.
We expect that the position is ideal for a candidate with solid experience building and managing WordPress sites, and has a strong focus on delivering quality – great-looking, responsive and fast websites.
Prerequisites for the position:
Must-Haves
- Previous work experience of at least two years in the same or similar position
- Experience with WordPress Pagebuilders such as Elementor or Beaver Builder
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe XD
- English proficiency (most of our communication is in English)
- Experience working with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem (themes, plugins, file structure)
- Focus on delivering good looking and quality solutions
- Fast learner and self-driven personality
Nice to have
- Knowledge of AWS services
- Experience with landing page building service providers
- Knowledge of technical SEO practices
- Experience designing outstanding web-based products for a consumer-oriented website, including translating work into responsive designs
- Computer and software skills for efficient research, documentation, and information management
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Experience with Woocommerce
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Content management of existing WordPress sites
- Designing & Building new WordPress Sites
- Collaborate with WordPress Developers in building new, and extending existing, WordPress themes & Plugins
- Ensuring All WordPress sites are in good shape in terms of technical SEO
- Establishing and guiding the website’s content architecture
